Freetimers was formed in 1997 as Freetimers Internet, a website design, web development, online marketing, SEO and Internet services provider and consultant. Twenty-two years later, and after producing some 1500 websites, we are one of the longest standing firms in our field in the UK.
We started in the early days of the internet and are basically a pioneer. Major online brands like Google, Magento, WordPress, Shopify and more did not exist, so we had to be self-reliant and create what was required as we went. This has meant we have evolved a 'can-do' culture that means just that--if it can be done then we can do it. It has also meant that we have had to develop our own systems and CMS, and to this day we are still developing, moving technology forward and removing uncertainties along the way and supported by the UK government. Our new 4th-generation system, Entegra™, represents a technological step forward and is being released now in 2019. Because of our longevity and experience, we thrive on complexity and have better functionality than most other systems. Our website management systems also work as business management systems and many of our clients manage their businesses using it. Some of these systems deal with complexity better than any other systems we know of. Our directors have significant business process management experience and expertise that the vast majority of agencies don't have, so we're not just designers or programmers--we know something about real business processes and can help our clients in ways others cannot.
We currently help manage a large number of websites, covering a huge variety of sectors and business types. Some of these include start-up businesses which we have assisted to become the leaders in their fields in the UK. Others are currently heading in that direction. Our clients include major businesses and sole traders, and some of the relationships we have are in excess of 10 years.
Our digital marketing and SEO service is second to none and gets amazing results for clients, including top positions in Google in very competitive areas, and huge improvements in visitor rates to their websites, with one site (for example) achieving a 13,000% improvement over the last 13 years. That particular website is the No1 site in its sector.
