Freetimers is a 1st generation web development firm, ie a pioneer! When we started, Google, WordPress, Magento, Shopify and other well-known internet brands didn't exist. There were no website systems available, so when we needed them, we created them from scratch. One of our staff, for example, invented one of the early Captcha programs, which was adopted by the W3C.
Why is this relevant you ask? Because of this background, we are able to do the jobs that others shy away from. Many digital agencies have very limited capabilities --not us!
Major Projects and Online Start-ups
We've been involved with a number of significant online start-ups and we continue to work very closely with several today, who are operating at the top of their sectors. Many of these projects have been very complex, and so getting the initial site working, with new and advanced technology was no insignificant feat. Many times big projects like these don't have a detailed specification and there has been a lot of reliance on us by clients to help them get it right, finding that correct balance between cost, functionality and timeliness of launch.
Phased On-Going Development
What all the successful websites have in common is that they recognise there can always be better. Resting on one's laurels is not the answer, on-going phased development and continuous improvements is. Some of our most successful sites have carried out well over 100 phases of development, each time expanding and consolidating, making the user experience (UX) better, and streamlining and looking at the ergonomics of the business administration part of the site so the client's grasp of the business and their competitive advantage also improves.
