We reported on the steady rise of TheGarageDoorCentre.co.uk site in 2009 as achieving1.6 million hits and being No.1 on Google for 'Garage Doors'. Ten years on they're still No 1 and surpassing 7.6 million hits, with record visit rates as well.
Googly clearly sees the GDC website as hugely authoritative and the sector leader, with large numbers of No1 rankings and with an estimated 30,000+ top 5 rankings over the UK market. The visit rate for the month of July 2019 exceeded 230,000 for the first time, with a great pages to visit ratio of nearly 8 pages per visit, showing visitor engagement as excellent, achieving a visitor rate improvement of nearly 22,000% since we started working on the site in 2006. That's right -- 22 thousand percent!
It just shows that improvements and work doesn't stop even after achieving the top position, there is always more and new work to carry out.
